We pride ourselves on our commitment to STEM. Stuart's challenging and innovative curriculum is designed to take advantage of the way girls learn in the STEM fields of science, technology, engineering, and math, and gives them countless opportunities to pursue your passions and find new ones. From robotics and computer science, to calculus and physics, our commitment to STEM leaves girls with a love of these fields that is often lost as early as middle school.
Our girls are pushed to do more than solve math problems - they're challenged to apply their understanding in the real world. They don't stop at learning about engineering - they test out their knowledge by creating, designing, and building.
None of this, though, is possible without the support of the Stuart Fund. Gifts of all sizes help to create a challenging, engaging, and FUN curriculum that keeps girls learning, both inside and outside the classroom.
How does your gift make a difference in STEM?
🧬Materials for our biology classes cost over $5,000 per year in the Upper School. A gift of $50 can help support one of our students in these classes.
🪑The furniture used in our labs is important - it allows our girls to learn and keeps them safe while they do it! A gift of $150 can help to cover the cost of one lab chair in our labs.
🧪Our girls have the opportunity to try new and exciting experiments, but we know how important it is to properly dispose of the materials that we use to keep our planet safe! A gift of $1000 can help to support the disposal of our lab chemicals for half of the year.
